• Barti Spiced
  • 1 tbsp Salted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Dark Sugar
  • Good pinch of Cinnamon
  • Good pinch of Ginger
  • Small pinch of Nutmeg
  • Small pinch of Sea Salt
  • Tiny pinch of Ground Cloves
  • A Good Slosh of Boiling Water



Ok there is a bit of faff here we’ll admit. But if you’ve got 80% of these ingredients knocking about in the cupboard already, it is absolutely worth getting the rest in. Please forgive us the somewhat unconventional measuring methods, this is the recipe for just one cup. We’d recommend upscaling the ingredients and making a batch of the butter mix to store in the fridge to use as and when for minimal hassle when making future drinks. 

Mix together the butter with the sugar and spices in your cup. (It’s this step that you could bulk make and store refrigerated, just swap the cup for a bowl,) Pour over boiling water to dissolve the butter mix, once cooled slightly add a shot of Barti Spiced (or two!) and stir. Be warned she’s a rich one! Light fire, enjoy.
